Product Detail for Item #: 28750 : Chionodoxa forbesii

Chionodoxa forbesii

Glory of the Snow

Description

Rich blue flowers with white eyes blooming very early spring. Abundant racemes of half-inch, six-petaled flowers burst forth in the early season garden above linear, deep green leaves, lighting up the barren ground. These are wonderful bulbs to plant, forget and then enjoy for years to come.  These small bulbs are a great choice for naturalizing by the handfuls at the feet of deciduous shrubs, where the soil will not become too hot or dry during the summer.
