Summer Digging
Through the years, our growers have been perfecting and now are successfully practicing "Summer Digging".  Freshly dug plant material is moved immediately to a hardening-off area of shade and modern mist irrigation.
With this, there are now only a few days in the summer when our growers are not digging.
So call us for quotations.  We think you'll be pleasantly surprised at your success with summer planting.

Liming
Soil pH - The soil pH for lawns must be kept between 6.0 - 7.0.  The ideal time to correct pH is at the time of soil preparation before planting.  Use lower rate if incorporating into upper 2"; use higher rate if incorporating into upper 4" - 6".  Test soil next year to see if acidity has been corrected.
Raise pH to 6.5 - apply limestone Lower pH to 6.5 - apply elemental sulfur
