Dense branches of dark green foliage on stiff, erect polished canes; bright green at first, aging to brilliant yellow in color. Fast growing and beautiful as a "natural" screen. Roots spread and send off new canes underground. May need to be contained with a root barrier.

This evergreen bamboo has slender young green canes with a pronounced yellow groove found on opposite sides of the cane. Leaves are soft green color. A running bamboo with strong vertical growth. Fast growing and beautiful as a "natural" screen. Roots spread and send off new canes underground. May need to be contained with a root barrier.

Height: 4-8' Width: 6-10'	Zone: 5
Slow growing bamboo with black canes and finely textured foliage. New canes are green, turning black the second year, contrasting nicely with rich green foliage. Spreads vigorously by runners. Excellent screen or easily grown in containers.
