An elegant, compact and dense flowering tree producing lustrous, leathery foliage that is rich, dark green above and cinnamon brown underneath with an undulating surface.  Large, 5-6" creamy white flowers make their appearance in late spring and are exotically fragrant.  They are followed by 2-3" long fruits.  One of the most popular cultivars.

Quite handsome pyramidal form having lustrous, truly dark green leaves.  Spectacular orange-brown undersides to the leaves is an added feature. Dense branching when young, more open form with age.  Excellent lawn or parkway tree.

Dense evergreen tree with bold, lustrous dark green narrow glossy foliage and 8" wide, highly fragrant, creamy white cup-shaped flowers.  One of the cold-hardiest forms for northern climates. A striking specimen tree for large areas.  Keep moist until completely established.  Plant in full sun for best growth and flowering. An elegant tree that grows to 30 feet tall and 15 feet wide.

 Dwarf Southern Magnolia

A dwarf southern Magnolia with smaller dark green foliage and very compact narrow form ideal for smaller gardens.  The leaves of this evergreen shrub or small tree are rusty-brown on the undersides.  A heavy bloomer, white flowers appear early and again late in summer.  Evergreen.  Moderate growing.

Star Magnolia

Height: 12-20'  Width: 10-15' Zone: 4
Large, fragrant, double white star-like flowers appearing before the foliage in early spring.  Juvenile habit is denser and more upright, whereas mature trees tend to be more broad and open.  Blooms later than Magnolia stellata; useful in areas where late freezes occur.  Leaves are green, after flowers, turning yellow or bronze in fall.  Deciduous.
