A group of fast growing shrubs with yellow spring flowers that is available in many shapes and sizes.  Forsythia will tolerate many different soil conditions.

Upright spreading habit with big brilliant yellow flowers up the entire length of stem.  The flowering stems appear as deep golden wands in early spring.  Nice dark green foliage appears after blossoms are spent.

Weeping Forsythia

Height: 8-10'  Width: 10-15' Zone: 5
An upright deciduous shrub, with arching branches up to 10 feet long.  The leaves are medium to dark green.  Golden yellow flowers in early spring. This lovely shrub is one of the earliest bloomers (the flowers arrive before the leaves).  Fountain-like in shape, allow plenty of room for this back of the border plant.

Meadowlark Forsythia

Height: 8-10'  Width: 10-' Zone: 3
Brilliant yellow flowers in early spring.  Hardiest of all forsythias with bud set at extremely cold temperatures.  Fast growing with a semi-arching habit. Best flowering if planted in full sun.
