The shrub requires little maintenance, has pink tinged blooms in spring, shiny green leaves and bright red berries that last all winter.  In autumn the chokeberry rivals the burning brush for color turning a brilliant red.

Lustrous dark green leaves that turn brilliant scarlet in fall.  Brilliant red fall foliage with abnormally large, glossy red berries.  Fruit is decorative in winter.  Spring blooms are clear white and produced in clusters.  Large size makes a good long range focal point or variable background for evergreen shrubs.

Medium-size shrub with multiple seasons of interest.  Showy clusters of white flowers in early summer, followed by dark purple fruits.   Beautiful, wine red fall foliage with long lasting black fruit.
