Pondless Waterfall Systems
Features and Benefits:
  • Great alternative for a front yard pond.  Fits in small spaces where a pond might be crowded.

  • Perfect for public settings, building entrances, children's gardens and zoos where the liabilities of a pond are a concern.

  • Virtually maintenance free!  Simply refill the reservoir every few weeks to compensate for water loss due to evaporation.

  • Energy-efficient.  No ecological need to run the system continuously.

  • Can run on a timer - automatically set it to start up in the morning and shut off in the evening.

  • There is no ecosystem to worry about (fish, etc.).

MicroCentipede

Measures 18" long x 8" high, non-clogging design sits at the bottom of the basin, providing the maximum water capacity for use with MicroSnorkel™ Vault.  Also available separately for those who want to construct their own pondless waterfall, included with the MicroPondless™ Waterfall Kit

Snorkel™ Vault & Cap

The Snorkel™ Vault is used as a way to access the centipede during clean outs. The Snorkel™ Vault is completely buried into the gravel with only the lid being exposed. A pump can also be housed in the Snorkel™ Vault if building a "pondless" waterfall.

Centipede™ Module

Used at the bottom of the basin to distribute the water through the filtration of the gravel.  Features a non-clogging design. Sits at the bottom of the basin, providing the maximum water capacity.  Provides greater open space for water than holes in the vault.  Handles pumps over 10,000 GPH.

Water Matrix

Introducing a smarter way to build Pondless® Waterfalls and wetland systems

Designed to replace 90% of the gravel traditionally used in the reservoir of Pondless® Waterfalls applications.  The AquaBlox™ Water Matrix can also be used to replace the lower layer of 4-6 inch boulders in the bottom of Snorkel™ Vault and Centipede™ Module Wetland filter applications.
  • Over 3 times more water storage capacity than gravel – The Water Matrix can hold 7.4 gallons of water per cubic foot. Gravel can hold approximately 2.2 gallons of water per cubic foot.

  • Extra water storage capacity results in less routine maintenance topping reservoir to compensate for evaporation.

  • Easier to clean and less prone to clogging than traditional gravel basins.

  • Smaller Reservoirs! The ability to hold more water per cubic foot allows for smaller reservoirs.

  • Less labor excavating the basin, as well as less labor moving the many tons of gravel for basin.

  • The use of less liner and geotextile underlayment.

AquaBlox™ Water Matrix
Improved water distribution and reduced water velocity through the wetland filter provides more effective and efficient filtration.  Reduced water velocity improves the settling of sediment from the incoming water throughout the lower portion of the wetland.  AquaBlox™ Water Matrix also provides over 3 times more sediment storage capacity than traditionally used 4-6 inch boulders - which equals longer time between cleanings for easier yearly maintenance.
Back flushing and cleaning more effective at removing sediment loads.
Less Labor moving and inter-stacking the tonnage of required 4-6 inch boulders traditionally used on the bottom of the wetland filter.
