For Native and Natural Areas
Native grasses are commonly found in North American pastures and prairies. They add color, texture and seasonal interest in low maintenance areas. Their deep root systems provide superior drought tolerance and erosion control once established. They grow and establish with little or no fertilizer. Their upright growth habit provides cover and encourages nesting of small birds and wildlife while their seeds serve as a natural food source. Once established, they're able to crowd out unwanted weeds. Native grasses are traditionally left unmown for a soft, naturalized look that has a unique ornamental appeal. Bissett offers several stock Reclaim Native Grass Mixtures. Custom mixing and individual native grass species are also available upon request.
