Erosion Control
Erosion Jute Matting - 4' x 225'

An erosion control fabric designed to protect seeds and slopes during the establishment of vegetation.  Stabilizes soil on slopes during rainwater run off.  Holds grass seeds in place until they germinate.  Also used to aid vegetation establishment along drainage canals.  The fabric is constructed from a natural fiber which is bio-degradable in 1 to 2 years and in decomposing adds organic matter to the soil.
- Heavy duty open mesh.
- Slows water runoff by absorbing almost 5 times its weight in water.
- Easy to use on any terrain, conforms to difficult surfaces.
- Holds seed and soil in place.
- Seed can be broadcast before or after mat has been installed.
- Decomposes to add two tons of rich organic matter per acre.

Silt Fence

Woven from polypropylene fibers heated to resist degradation caused by sunlight.  Resistant to commonly encountered soil chemicals, mildew and insects.  This non-biodegradable fabric can be used in water and wind.  11 stakes per 100' roll - ten foot on center.  Woven to the exact degree of tightness and with the proper width fiber to create the correct sieve size to allow water to pass through, yet filter and capture the silt behind the fence.  Ponding, damming, fence wash-out and overflowing is virtually eliminated.  Assembled fabric, net reinforcing, cord and attached kiln dried hardwood stakes. silt-fence.jpg (18781 bytes)

Coirlogs

100% coconut fiber Coirlogs for channel, stream and shoreline erosion control and botanic naturalization.
Manufactured with a center rope having loops in both ends.  These can be strung together to form a shoreline chain, stacked parallel to form a log wall, weighted and sunk to provide aquatic plant habitat or tied to floats and used as water surface planters.
Most commonly used:
- to manage stream flow velocity.
- for shore and stream bank stabilization, reeds, cattails, willows and other water loving plants are easily anchored to Coir logs to resist uprooting by the shear effect of running water.

Enkadrain- Subsurface Drainage Matting

Enkadrain Colbond 3600 series are drainage products consisting of fused core of entangled filaments and geotextile fabric bonded to one side.  Used as a means of relieving hydrostatic pressure from backfills abutting below grade structures.  Enkadrain 3615R allows for a higher flow rate at same thickness as 3611 filament material.  Protects water proofing during and after backfill.  Resistant to all known naturally occurring soil environments. enkadrain.jpg (5868 bytes)

Erosion Control Blankets
Quality erosion control products made from either straw, coconut fiber or synthetic fibers.  Permanent erosion control is best achieved with permanent vegetation.  Erosion Control Blankets provide protection from erosion through rapid growth of vegetation.  Not all potential erosion is the same.  Soil type, length of slope, moisture availability, fertility and degree of slope are only a few of the variables to consider when planning erosion prevention measures.  Blankets provides economical solutions to the challenges of erosion prevention, revegetation and reclamation.
