Pursuant to Local Law No. 41-2007 |
All Home Improvement Contractors, who are intending to apply any
fertilizer or product containing a fertilizer, are required by law to
attend a Suffolk County Department of Environment & Energy approved
training course on nitrogen fertilizer reduction in turf grass management
practices prior to applying for or renewing their license. When submitting
the application or renewal for your Home Improvement Contractor License,
you will be required by Consumer Affairs to present a Suffolk County
Nitrogen Fertilizer Turf Management Course Certificate.
The certificate is
not transferable.
