TIARELLA (Foamflower)

Foamflower is a spreading, 6-12" high perennial with broad, heart-shaped leaves that are lobed and toothed along the edges.  The leaves are a bright green and are clothed in soft hairs. The unbranching flower stems are fingerlike and covered with a hazy cloud of white (rarely pink) flowers for about six weeks in the spring.

One of the most vigorous plants, 'Brandywine' features glossy, mid-green leaves with splashes of bronze and frothy, light pink-white flowers in May and June.  The foliage color intensifies and holds through fall and winter.

Slightly fragrant, white, star-like flowers on numerous and long lasting spikes appear on this compact, clump-forming selection in May.  The evergreen, maple-like leaves turn reddish in winter.
